CM checks into the secretariat corridor

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma paid a surprise visit to the secretariat where he checked offices of IAS officers and subordinate staff

Chief minister paid a surprise visit to offices of officers and subordinate staff in the secretariat. Additional to chief minister Shikhar Agarwal accompanied him during the visit.

The chief minister inspected offices of IAS officers and completed round of the secretariat around 10.30 am. 

This is for the first time chief minsiter has inspected the offices of secretariat. Few months back, chief secretary Sudhansh Pant had done similar exercise to ensure timely coming of officers. 

Pant had made surprise visit to several offices of including Housing Board, Collectorate, JDA and Transport Office among other.

Government push on good governance 

Surprise visits of chief minister and chief secretary are indication that the has a special emphasis on discipline in office.

The government wants officers to be in office in time and dispose files within the time frame. Such visits make officers alert and a strong message in the system.
