Aditya Srivastava has topped the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022-23. The second and the third spots have been bagged by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy respectively.
As many as 1016 names have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services Group A and Group B. The final results of CSE is uploaded on the website.
This is the most prestigious and one of the toughest examinations of the country, which is conducted every year to select top bureaucrats of the country, who run the state and central governments.
The UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examinations 2023 was conducted on May 28, and the UPSC Mains examination was conducted on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023. The final personality test/interview round is ki was held phase-wise from January 2 to April 9, 2024.
Who is Aditya Srivastava?
Aditya Srivastava is a native of Lucknow and belongs to a business family. He has done dual degree – B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT, Kanpur. Aditya has been preparing for UPSC CSE since 2017. He wants to serve the society by joining administrative services and bring change in people's lives. in 2022 exam, Srivastava had bagged 236th rank with 976 marks.

The merit list has been released based on the results of the written part of the Civil Services Examination 2023, conducted by the UPSC in September 2023, and the subsequent interviews for the Personality Test held from January to April 2024. This list includes candidates recommended for appointment to (1) Indian Administrative Service; (2) Indian Foreign Service; (3) Indian Police Service; and (4) Central Services, Group ‘A' and Group ‘B'.
The CSE (Mains) took place in a subjective format across two shifts spanning from September 15 to September 24. Each shift, lasting three hours, was conducted both in the morning, from 9am to 12pm, and in the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm.
