For last few days, there has been a large number of transfers of IAS officers in Uttar Pradesh administration. Once again Yogi government transferred 9 IAS officers and two senior PCS officers.
Rajesh Kumar Pandey, a 2012 batch IAS officer has been made the new DM of Jalaun. He was serving as Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch and Joint Managing Director, Jal Nigam Rural. While incumbent Jalaun DM and 2013 batch IAS officer Chandni Singh is going on maternity leave.
2012 batch IAS officer Markandeya Shahi has been transferred as the Acting Labour Commissioner. He was posted as Special Secretary Food and Logistics and Controller Legal Metrology Department. Before this, the additional charge of Labour Commissioner, Kanpur was with the Divisional Commissioner of Kanpur. Shahi will be promoted to the level of Commissioner and Secretary in January 2025.
2017 batch IAS officer and Additional Commissioner and Divisional Food Controller Gorakhpur, Anuj Malik has been posted as Divisional Food Controller and has also been given the responsibility of Officer on Special Duty in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority.
2012 batch IAS officer and CDO of Basti, Rajesh Kumar Prajapati has been posted as Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch. While 2020 batch IAS officer and Joint Magistrate Varansi, Jaidev CS will replace Prajapati.
2020 batch IAS officer and Joint Magistrate Gorakhpur, Neha Bandhu has been appointed as the CDO of Mainpuri.
Pratyush Pandey, an IAS officer of 2020 batch and Joint Magistrate Bareilly, has been made CDO of Deoria.
While, 2010 batch IAS officer and Chief Secretary's Staff Officer, Divya Prakash Giri has been appointed as Special Secretary Excise. He will replace 2011 batch IAS officer Uday Bhanu Tripathi, who has been transferred as the Special Secretary Housing and Urban Planning.
Among the two PCS officers, Deoria CDO Ravindra Kumar has been made Staff Officer of the Chief Secretary. Mainpuri CDO Vinod Kumar has been appointed as the Special Secretary in the Public Works Department.
