33 IAS officers pressed into service for success of Rising Rajasthan

Rajasthan has pressed services of 33 IAS officers for coordination with investors of different and states for the investors summit Rising Rajasthan to be held from 9-11 December, 2024. 

“This is for the first time so many IAS officers have been involved in investor summit. This will ensure collective responsibility of the entire bureaucratic machinery. This will help in successful organisation of the ,” said a senior IAS officer.

All these officers will as per instructions issued by the industries department. 

While IAS officers will be coordinating with investors of 23 countries like US, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Finland, France and Russian among others, IAS officers will be facilitating investors of 19 different states in the country.

“For states, IAS officers have been given their native states so that they can make investors of their respective states feel at home. For example additional chief secretary has been made in charge of Bihar, Sreya Guha of West Bengal, Rajan Vishal of Punjab and Arti Dogra of Uttarakhand among others,” said a senior officer.

Similarly, for attracting investment from overseas investors, state government has nominated Ajitabh Sharma for USA, Rohit Gupta for UK, Sandesh Nayak for Switzerland and Gayatri Rathore for Singapore among others.

Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and chief secretary Sudhansh Pant have made it clear that the investors summit is not the sole responsibility of industries department but it is a government affair which need involvement of entire bureaucracy and all departments.
