Top officials of RIICO hit the ground running to implement the plans strategised in the drawing board.

RIICO Ajitabh Sharma, who is also principal industries along with RIICO managing Inderjeet Singh, were on a field visit to Dausa and nearby places scouting for stretch of land along

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway for the proposed industrial township.

Ajitabh Sharma and Inderjeet Singh met Dausa Devendra Kumar and discussed with him about the availability of land alongside the Expressway.

“Our first priority is to identify more than 3,000 hectares of land in proximity to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway for the green field  industrial township,” said Ajitabh Sharma.

Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in August this year, had announced that the state government will set up a new industrial park along side the Expressway. This is slated to change the industrial landscape of Rajasthan, which is looking to enter a new era of industrial development.

“Land aggregation is the first step before land acquisition. We are here to identify suitable land,” said Ajitabh Sharma.

Soon after the conclusion of Rising Rajasthan Global Summit, RIICO is the first department, which started the ball rolling. It allotted land to a German company within a week of conclusion of the summit and now set off for identifying land for development of industrial town.

“All regional heads of RIICO have been instructed to facilitate investors with land and all other regulatory permissions . They have been told to liaison with district administration to get clearances, NoCs and permissions required for setting up plants,” said a top RIICO officer.
